Irini Mando

Irini Mando is a Greek-German singer and songwriter whose music blends contemporary pop, R&B, and trap-soul with emotional storytelling and smooth, expressive vocals. Since independently releasing music in 2015, she has steadily built an international profile as both a recording artist and songwriter, collaborating with producers and creatives across Europe and the United States.

Before focusing fully on her solo career, Irini developed a strong background in songwriting. She has contributed to a number of international projects, including ghostwriting work connected to major label releases in the United States. Her musical foundation began with classical piano training, which continues to influence her melodic songwriting style and the emotional depth found throughout her music.

One of Irini Mando’s early career highlights came with the single Hang, which was included on the first compilation album released by the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The song was recorded in Amy Winehouse’s personal studio and released through Island Records UK, giving Irini early recognition within the industry. Her music has also reached wider audiences through placements such as the remix of MVP (feat. Jay Lyn Gatz), which was featured during the NBA Playoffs by Portland Trailblazers DJ OG One.

Over the years, Irini has collaborated with several internationally recognised producers and artists. Her Trouble EP included work with producers such as Sebastian Seville, who has worked with Kanye West, as well as Mafro and Enz of the London collective Steam Down. The project was mixed and mastered by Jonas Westling, whose credits include Lady Gaga and James Arthur. The EP received strong editorial support on streaming platforms, with the single Warning featured on Apple Music’s Brown Sugar playlist across multiple territories.

Irini Mando has also performed internationally and participated in major music industry events and showcases. She has appeared at events including Canadian Music Week and the ASCAP Expo, opportunities that helped her expand her network and introduce her music to global audiences. Her participation in these showcases was supported by the PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund, recognising her potential as an emerging independent artist.

Between 2021 and 2023, Irini completed a UK-wide school tour, performing hundreds of live shows and connecting with thousands of young listeners. Following a short break from touring, she returned to the stage as a guest performer at the homecoming headline show of SXSW award-winning artist Lemzi, where they performed their collaboration Crestfallen.

In recent years, Irini has continued to expand her songwriting through international writing camps in cities such as Berlin, Cologne, and Tallinn. During these sessions she began writing songs in multiple languages, including German, French, and Greek, collaborating with a growing network of European artists and producers.

Her latest project, Late Nights / Early Mornings, showcases her evolution as an artist, exploring themes of vulnerability, relationships, and self-reflection through atmospheric production and intimate songwriting.

As an independent artist, Irini Mando continues to develop her sound and expand her international collaborations, building a catalogue that reflects both personal expression and a modern global pop influence.
